For special pre-approved events, Community Affairs can provide
money to AAA offices in Northern California, Nevada and Utah to help serve the community. If employees from an office volunteer, AAA will provide financial incentives based on the number of employees volunteering.
5 employees volunteering for a qualifying event = $100
10 employees volunteering for a qualifying event = $200
15 employees volunteering for a qualifying event = $300
How to use the money:
~ Donate it to a local nonprofit where AAA Volunteers are serving.
~ The money can buy supplies to host a volunteer event.
~ The money can pay for a booth or sponsorship in the community.
~ The money can feed or provide hospitality for the volunteers.
The process:
Contact Roger Hancock or Cindy Skinner at AAA Volunteers. Provide Roger or Cindy with the event details and your volunteer event will be posted on the web site at
www.aaavolunteers.org.
Once the volunteer web site roster shows 5, 10 or 15 volunteers, we will work with you to access and/or allocate the funds.
